CVSE inspections

Norlang Automotive is a Designated Inspection Facility (DIF) authorized to perform CVSE (Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement) inspections. These government-mandated inspections are designed to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and help keep our roads safe.

CVSE inspections are mandatory for most commercial fleet vehicles, taxis, rideshare vehicles (Uber/Lyft), and vehicles newly registered in British Columbia. Additionally, a peace officer may require an inspection if a vehicle is suspected of being unsafe.

These inspections are strictly enforced — even something as minor as a small windshield crack or a burnt-out headlight bulb can result in a failed inspection. At Norlang Automotive, we work closely with our customers to make the inspection process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
